Free Crochet Pattern: Chunky Ribbed Cowl!

Thanks for visiting my page! Another early crochet career pattern! My Chunky Ribbed Cowl is cute and quick to make! This bulky scarf is a great cold weather staple and would be a gorgeous gift idea. Only one skein required to complete!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:

Materials:

Yarn – 2 Skeins Lion Brand Thick & Quick Yarn

Crochet Hook: P – 10.00 MM

Scissors

Stitch Markers

Crochet Stitches Needed:

Stitch – ST

Chain – CH:

Half Double Crochet (HDC):

Pattern:

CH 77

Row 1: 1 HDC into every CH across, CH 2, Turn Work

Work in Back Loops Only For Every Row:

Row 2: 1 HDC into every ST across, CH 2, Turn Work

Repeat row 2 until you reached desired length.

I ended up making 7 rows after row 2.

Once finished, Fasten Off your work and Weave the Ends.

Take your flat cowl, bring the ends together like you’re making a cowl, then take the right side and twist it around, and then sew the ends together.
